Marisol has 12 years of experience as a devoted student, practitioner and instructor of yoga and meditation. She travels yearly to India for her personal studies in yoga, meditation, Sanskrit, Ayurveda and music. She holds a Yoga Alliance teacher certificate through Yoga Sutra NYC as well as several intense long term apprenticeships.

In her classes, Marisol shares her multicultural spirit of adventure and acceptance by approaching each student and each asana as unique and beautiful thereby, creating a practice for each student that is both precise and balanced.

The atmosphere you can find in Yoga Simha is the manifestation of her own approach to life, filled with compassion and sense of surprise.

Marisol grew up in the concrete urban jungle of Spanish Harlem, New York. She has lived extensively in New York, Madrid, Zimbabwe, India, and is now happily calling Zürich her home.

Yoga Simha is not about judgement. We focus on practicing in a safe, non-competitive, meditative and fun environment. This supports the capacity to develop a serious practice. Come as you are or as you are not. Yoga Simha allows you the freedom to be and become the person you are meant to be.
